Additional Parts List for Installing Wolo Auto Horns

When Wolo horn is installed as a PRIMARY HORN (existing car horn wiring plugged straight to compressor), NOTHING ELSE IS REQUIRED that is not included in the purchased kit. (That is, except for any adapter that may be needed for newer cars.) The power relay (a small, black cube included in kit) is unused.

If installed as a SECONDARY HORN (using a switch other than the normal horn switch), additional electrical supplies will be required which are not included in the purchased kit.

Here is a list of additional items for installing the Wolo horn as a secondary horn. Part numbers are shown for three different stores. Of the three stores mentioned, only Radio Shack offers a nice, small, "panel switch" for a nice dashboard installation. AutoZone offers a heavy, surface mounted switch which can carry the 10 amp draw without even using the relay. But, pulling that much power through an extra hole in firewall is asking for trouble. (And, the big switch is ugly too.)

Prevent short circuits which might start an electrical fire inside your vehicle! Use rubber grommets in new holes through sheet metal and ensure that all terminals are properly secured. Consult a professional installer of automotive electrical devices if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself.
